Apple Confirms That the New Mac Pro Will be Produced in Texas, USA

In June, Apple officially launched a new generation of Mac Pro at the WWDC19 Global Developers Conference. Today, Apple officially announced that the new Mac Pro will be manufactured at a factory in Austin, Texas. This is where Mac Pro has been produced since 2013.

Apple said that the new Mac Pro used by U.S. users will be designed, developed and manufactured by more than a dozen U.S. companies. Manufacturers and suppliers are located in eight states, including Arizona, Maine, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas and Vermont.

It is reported that the new Mac Pro is worth 2.5 times more parts in the United States than the previous generation of Mac Pro.

“The new Mac Pro is Apple’s most powerful computer ever. “Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook said,” Parts for the product come from 36 states, providing 450,000 jobs for U.S. suppliers, and we will continue to grow here. “

Apple pointed out that it is expected to achieve its commitment of investing $350 billion in the U.S. economy by 2023. Last year alone, Apple worked with more than 9,000 U.S. suppliers, costing more than $60 billion, including 36 state production bases.
