Sharp launches Android One new machine S7 in Japan, pre-installed Android 10 operating system

Recently, Sharp launched a new Android One S7 in the Japanese market, positioning the midrange. Measuring approximately 147x70x8.9mm, it features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, 3GB of LPDDR4x running memory, 32GB of storage, and a 5.5-inch IGZO LCD screen with a resolution of 2160×1080.

Sharp S7 supports IPX5/IPX8 waterproof, IP6X dustproof, shockproof, and also has an electronic wallet function, with light copper, silver, black three colors. Sharp officially said that its built-in 4000 mAh battery with IGZO energy-saving display technology, battery life up to one week.

The Sharp S7 uses a 12 megapixel, F/2.0 aperture rear camera and an 8 megapixel, F/2.2 aperture front camera with electronic image stabilization for still images and a new image quality engine, ProPix2, for pairing Blur correction of the subject.

Android One allows handset makers to build low-cost smartphones that are sold to nearly one billion potential users in emerging markets. Google will provide device manufacturers with a complete set of hardware and software guidance programs, as well as some optimized design platforms, to enable these manufacturers to create smart phones that are simpler, faster, and cheaper. As an Android One, the Sharp S7 comes pre-loaded with the latest Android 10 operating system and some popular Google apps like Google Assistant and Google Photos. Sharp guarantees a three-year system update and monthly security update for this model and promises to perform a system update at least every 24 months after the release.

At present, the price of the aircraft is temporarily unknown and is expected to be listed in Japan in mid-December this year.
